The feminine name Anje means “favor”, “grace” and “gracious”, “merciful” or “He (God) has favored me” (from Hebrew “ḥen/חֵן” = grace/favor or “ḥanán/חָנַן” = to show favor/to be gracious). The masculine name Anje means “eagle”. And in 2020, we added “Rebel” to the name for that little bit of edge to emphasise the boldness of a personality.
